My Golf Journey
Golf is one of the newest hobbies I have taken up, and I have been playing for around a year. Although I have always been passionate about football, I wanted to challenge myself by learning a completely different sport. Golf has given me the opportunity to develop patience, concentration and determination while enjoying time outdoors with friends and family.
What I enjoy most about golf is that there is always something new to learn. Every round presents different challenges, and no two days on the course are ever the same. Even though I am still relatively new to the game, I have developed a real passion for improving and look forward to every opportunity I get to play.

My Home Course & Achievements
I regularly play at Teesside Golf Club, where I am a member. Having a course close to home allows me to practice regularly and continue improving my game. The club has become a place where I can enjoy friendly competition, relax and spend time doing something I genuinely enjoy.
One of my proudest golfing achievements so far was making a birdie on one of the toughest holes at Teesside Golf Club. I have also achieved a personal best score of 37 at the 9-hole par 3 course at Stokesley. While these may seem like small achievements to experienced golfers, they are important milestones in my golfing journey.

My Strengths & Development
At the moment, I would say that my strongest areas are my chipping and iron play. These are parts of my game that have improved through regular practice and playing as often as possible. One thing I enjoy about golf is seeing progress over time and recognising the improvements that come from hard work.
Like every golfer, I still have plenty to learn and improve.
My biggest focus is becoming more consistent and keeping the ball in play more often. By making smarter decisions, avoiding costly mistakes and aiming for bogeys and double bogeys, I hope to lower my scores and become a more confident golfer.
Chipping
Confident around the greens and improving touch in short-game situations.

Iron Play
One of the strongest parts of my game and an area I enjoy practising.

Course manamgement
Learning to make smarter decisions and avoid costly mistakes.

Continuous Improvement
Focused on getting a little better every time I play.
My Main Goals & Ambitions
My main goal is to continue playing regularly and improving a little every time I step onto the course. I do not currently have an official handicap, but I hope to obtain one in the future as my game develops. Reaching that milestone would be a great achievement and would allow me to track my progress more accurately.
Looking ahead, I would love to enter competitions once I feel ready and gain experience playing in a more competitive environment. One of my biggest golfing dreams is to play on a famous course in America. For now, my focus is on enjoying the game, improving my skills and creating great memories along the way.
